my den

Silverstar slipped into her den, and looked around. There curving rock wall in the back, covered with thick moss. The rest was covered by branches of trees and ferns. She scraped her claws along the rock wall to make a nest, but the moss gave way to a tunnel. She slipped through and saw it was rock covered with moss just like in her den. She reached the end and it opened up to a space with a small waterfall and a little pool so clear it looked like crystal.

She dabbed at the pool, and it was warm. Almost hot. She saw steam rising above the pool and guessed that it was a hot spring. She could use this for a cat with chills, or a kit that wasnt warm enouph. But untill the time when someone needed it, she would keep it to herself. She padded back through the tunnell. And she covered the hole with a rock, just in case a cat came in and saw it.
